TRANSFER FROM ONE FACULTY TO ANOHER WITHIN THE UNIVERSITY
The student should comply with the conditions laid down by the Ministry of Higher Education for enrollment in the faculty to be transferred to e.g., the specified percentage in the Secondary School Certificate,
Transfer application should be within at least two weeks before the start of the academic year.
Approval of the Dean for the transfer,
Approval of the Dean for the transfer after recommendation of the concerned Committee, the transfer should be completed within two weeks of the start of the academic year
Any student who fails in a basic subject in the preceding final exam even if the student passes in the supplementary exams, is not eligible for transfer
Student requesting transfer must have passed the preceding final exam with in the basic subjects
The student should not have been dismissed for misconduct,
After the acceptance the student should pay the tuition fees.
The academic secretary should prepare a form for the internal transfer and decides on fees for that.
The application form should be filled and handed over to the Academic Secretary at least two weeks before the start of the academic year and two weeks after the start of the academic year.
The Academic Secretary should follow all the steps until the transfer is approved or rejected
The student whose application of transfer is approved should complete the procedure for transfer within one week of receiving the approval.
Approval for transfer should be sent to the Ministry of Higher Education to change the student number.
TRANSFER FROM ANOTHER UNIVERSITY
The students must possess the Sudanese Secondary School Certificate or its equivalent with the minimum percentage for the specific faculty in the specific year according to the conditions of enrollment in the Sudanese Universities in the year they joined.
The student must be regular and registered in a recognized institution of higher education inside or outside the Sudan before resignation and should have passed all subjects in the previous year.
The student must have completed at least a year in his original institution successfully.
The student should not have been dismissed for misconduct.
The student should spend the semifinal and the final years (two academic years).
The student will be accepted in the same class when he resigned.
The students should obtain the form of transfer after paying the fees and should fill in all the information required,
Handing over the filled form to the Academic Secretary at least two weeks before the beginning of the academic year, and two weeks after the start of the academic year.
The required documents should be attached to the form which includes, the original school certificate, certificates from the institution the student is registered in, acceptance of resignation from his previous institute and list of all subjects studied and the grades obtained,
The Academic Secretary examines the documents to make sure that the student satisfies the conditions for transfer, hand it over to the Dean of the faculty for his decision.
All the documents should be sent to the Ministry Higher Education for approval and giving the new student number.
Transfer student should spend the semifinal and the final academic years of the faculty (two academic years).
