Dr. Atif Babiker Mohamed Ali Osman (BSc, MSc, PhD in Optometry) – Associate Professor of Optometry- Al-Neelain University: Khartoum – Sudan. Birth (6.March.1967) in Sudan.
Currently: General Manager of Al-Neelain University Eye Hospital (Since 2014) &Previous appointments:Head of low vision department (2008 – 2014); Coordinator of Post-Graduate Studies (2010 – 2014).President of the Sudanese Optometrists Union (S.O.U 2010 – 2014).Chairman of the scientific committee for the 1stInternational Conference of Optometry in Sudan (27 – 28 February 2016). Establishment of the low vision departments inAlwalidain eye hospital (2006) and also in Makkah Eye complex (2005).
Presented 12 papers in National and International conferencesand 12published scientific papers in field of low vision and clinical optometry.
