The B.Sc (Hons) Administrative Sciences prepares students to understand and undertake career in different business fields, throughout the curriculum students’ gain and accumulate knowledge in the different areas of managing a business, public sector, and not for profit organizations. This program encompasses three areas of specialization; Business administration which deals with the effective use of people and other resources for achieving organizational goals, through the processes of planning, organizing, controlling and directing these resources. Accounting addresses the nuts-and-bolts of numbers and keeping records of business transactions and reporting for planning and control. Marketing incorporates the importance of business activities and promotion of products and services. Aside from studying the core curriculum, students are exposed to the general skills needed in the analysis of data, communication and the use of information technology.
